  11. Windows 95 version:  Quickly display and view *.gif and *.jpg files without
  12. the use of a browser
  13.  
  14. Thumb Print is a utility to create html files for *.GIF & *.JPG file formats.
  15. These image files are displayed as thumbnail images.  Each image contains a
  16. link to the full size image.  Search your local and network drives for these
  17. files.  The html document created can be automatically loaded into Netscape's
  18. browser.  If other browser's are used, the html file can be loaded manually
  19. with the File/Open... option.

  23. The software is divided into two compressed ZIP files. The actual Thumb Print
  24. software is distributed in a file named TP16vvv.ZIP (Windows 3.x) or 
  25. TP32vvv.ZIP (Windows 95) where vvv is the version number.  This file contains 
  26. other files such as the help file, readme.txt, etc.).  To update your system 
  27. with new releases of Thumb Print, you only need this file (new update version) 
  28. after your initial install of the software.

  30. The support files are distributed under the file named TP16SUPP.ZIP 
  31. (Windows 3.x) and TP32SUPP.ZIP (Windows 95).  These files are the library 
  32. files that are needed to properly run Thumb Print.  Some, if not all, of these 
  33. files may already be installed on your system.  If they are, you will only 
  34. need TP16vvv.ZIP or TP32vvv.ZIP.  Visit http://www.neosoft.com/~osl for more

  85. If you already have these files on your system then you can skip the download
  86. of TP16SUPP.ZIP or TP32SUPP.ZIP.  You can check the existence of the *.DLL 
  87. and *.OCX files in the WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.

  98. Installation
  99.  
  100. Part I:
  101. TP16SUPP.ZIP or TP32SUPP.ZIP only needs to be downloaded and installed once!!!  
  102. If you have already installed the support files, skip to Part II.  To install 
  103. the Thumb Print software you will need to download the support files 
  104. (TP16SUPP.ZIP or TP32SUPP.ZIP) and unzip them into a directory on your system.  
  105. Once unzipped, run SETUP.EXE to install.

  107. Part II:
  108. The next step is to download the actual Thumb Print software kit (TP32vvv.ZIP 
  109. or TP16vvvv.ZIP).  Unzip this file into a directory different from the one 
  110. used for the support files.  This file contains its own SETUP.EXE file.  Once 
  111. unzipped, run SETUP.EXE to install.  From this point on, you should only need 
  112. the update kit.

  114. Note: TP16vvv.ZIP/TP32vvv.ZIP is the update file where vvv=version number.
